The Kimpton Miralina Resort & Villas Scottsdale is a new luxury destination currently under a multi-million-dollar transformation from the former Scottsdale Plaza Resort, with its official grand opening scheduled for January 5, 2026. Situated on 40 acres in the exclusive enclave of Paradise Valley, the resort is nestled between the iconic Camelback and Mummy Mountains, offering a tranquil desert oasis while remaining minutes away from the vibrant cultural attractions and dining of Old Town Scottsdale. The resort's design emphasizes blending indoor and outdoor living with a color palette inspired by the shifting desert landscape, featuring soft terracotta, sage, and coral tones. 

Upon its opening, the Kimpton Miralina will feature a comprehensive array of amenities designed to offer a bold new vision of desert luxury. The property will boast a collection of six swimming pools, including a three-tier Canyon Oasis Pool with shaded cabanas and a lively poolside bar, CIMA, from celebrated Chef Wes Avila. Dining options will be anchored by Hecho Libre, an artisanal Mexican restaurant offering Baja-inspired cuisine from Chef Avila for three meals a day. Wellness facilities include Spa Miralina with five treatment rooms, a full-service salon, sauna, cold plunge, and a dedicated fitness pavilion with movement classes. The resort is also pet-friendly and incorporates signature Kimpton perks like in-room yoga mats and a complimentary evening social hour.
