Dr. Lalia Rach, Founder and Partner Rach Enterprises bio:
Lalia is a successful entrepreneur, educator and leader. A third-generation small business owner, her roots are in the hospitality business as the granddaughter of a successful restaurateur and whose parents owned a bar and grill. She worked through high school and college at a motor lodge and restaurant in back and front of house positions. After college she worked in hotels in various management positions for a decade.
She found her calling as a university educator and served as dean at several top hospitality and tourism programs. At New York University, in her eighteen-year tenure as divisional dean and endowed professor, she was responsible for increasing the stature and attendance at the NYU Hospitality Investment and Development Conference and creating innovative graduate and undergraduate programs in the business of hospitality, sports, and tourism.
Currently a full-time consultant, Lalia has grown her company, Rach Enterprises, and serves as a trusted advisor to senior level executives at many of America’s leading companies and is also a source of motivational inspiration to professionals searching for originality and reality. She prides herself on being direct, providing honest feedback and advice to her clients, and on delivering “Genuine Ideas with Uncommon Sense” (her tagline). Her goal is to help you think differently about the challenges facing the organization and your businesses and to assist you in moving beyond the status quo.
